Registration process:

Step 1: Register for placement test

Call 0274 999 6681 or go to FLC, located on Eastern International University, 81 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street, Binh Duong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City

Step 2: Take the test

Candidates have to take the paper-based test to examine three skills including writing, listening and reading and then a 5-minute interview with a native foreign teacher to examine speaking skills. The test takes place weekly on Wednesdays (17:30 – 19:30) and Saturday (15:00 – 17:00). This test will show your current level of foreign language. Placement results will be valid for 6 months.

Step 3: Register for courses

FLC will inform each candidate about placement test results, suitable classes and schedule.

If offered classes and schedule are unsuitable, candidates are welcome to discuss with FLC’s friendly staff to work out the best option.

Pay tuition before the course begins by bank transfer.

In English classes, 100% of the lessons are taught by native English-speaking teachers. The teaching staff consists entirely of foreign teachers from various English-speaking countries around the world. All teachers hold a university degree or higher, have extensive teaching experience in international environments, and possess international teaching qualifications such as CELTA or Trinity (recognized by the University of Cambridge, Trinity College, and Dublin).

In Japanese classes, FLC has a team of teachers from Japan with university degrees or higher, possessing in-depth pedagogical skills and many years of teaching experience. The Vietnamese teaching staff also have university degrees or higher, hold JLPT N2-N1 certificates, and have extensive teaching experience from beginner to JLPT exam preparation levels.

Recognizing the need for students to be able to use English in real-life situations, courses at FLC utilize the Communicative Approach as a starting point. Building upon this foundation, highly qualified teachers at FLC have combined various methods to create suitable courses. This allows students of different levels and learning styles to achieve the highest learning effectiveness.

The Japanese program at FLC uses the Doriru (Drill) method: a technique of repetitive practice aimed at automating reflexes in Japanese vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. Through frequent practice, learners build a solid foundation, increase accuracy, retain information more deeply, and become more confident in communication.

FLC currently offers 15% discount on tuition if students register for the course 4 days prior to the commencement date of the course.

Currently, EIU FLC is offering a 15% tuition fee discount for students who register and pay within 4 days of the course start date. In addition, depending on specific policies, other promotional programs may apply; students can find more information in the “Promotional Policies” section.

Available courses at FLC are designed to serve the needs of many different types of students such as:

General English program: is an English training program for students aged 15 years and over, from Beginner to Advanced level (including 6 levels), which helps to comprehensively develop all four skills of Listening – Speaking – Reading – Writing, is a stepping stone to get closer to study and work goals as well as study abroad, obtain scholarships, take English exams, apply for jobs and create a premise to study for international certificates such as IELTS, TOEFL and TOEIC.

The curriculum uses video, audio and content resources from BBC, UK television, to help learners develop skills with the most confidence. The course provides The course provides grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and skill-oriented knowledge focused on developing oral and written communication skills.

English for Teens program: is an English training program for pre-teens and teens aged 11 to 14, from Beginner to Advanced level (including 7 levels). The program has been designed to be age and level appropriate in order for students to acquire language effectively, has a strong emphasis on listening, reading, writing, speaking and vocabulary development to ensure students are able to communicate confidently inside and outside the classroom as well as study abroad, obtain scholarships, take English exams, and create a premise to study for international certificates such as IELTS, TOEFL and TOEIC.

IELTS Preparation: This program is designed for learners aged 15 and above who intend to take the IELTS test and whose English proficiency level is ideally Intermediate or above (evaluated through a Placement test.). After this course, learners will be equipped with essential background knowledge and test-taking skills to achieve their full test-potential.

English for Corporation: FLC specializes in providing high quality English training programs at a reasonable cost. With a team of 100% native-level English speakers who have industry/ business experience across many sectors and industries in multi-national and international companies, we can meet your specific needs from basic to intensive English courses for each industry and every skill. English training programs are designed appropriately, according to practical needs and participant level based on our employee diagnostic test results, optimizing the use of your training budget.

Study One-on-One: has only 1 teacher – 1 student. 100% native teachers with international English teaching experience and qualifications. The learning program is tailored to each individual’s needs, designed and adjusted according to the student’s learning progress and competencies, ensure that students develop their strengths and improve the skills they want to acquire.

General Japanese: EIU Foreign Language Center offers a general Japanese course to meet the growing demand of Vietnamese learners, especially those wishing to apply Japanese to their daily lives and activities.

Japanese for Teens: The teenage Japanese class helps learners acquire Japanese naturally through practical communication situations in daily life. This allows learners to confidently communicate in Japanese and gain a deeper understanding of Japanese culture through these real-life scenarios.

Japanese for Corporation: To meet the strong wave of investment from Japan, FLC provides specialized Japanese courses for businesses, especially for management teams. The program is designed with flexibility in terms of time, location, and content to meet individual needs, optimizing training budgets and overcoming language barriers to promote business success.

JLPT Preparation: The JLPT exam preparation course at FLC meets the practical needs of students through a globally recognized certificate with a clear 5-level roadmap from N5 to N1. The program helps students equip themselves with the necessary knowledge to confidently achieve their goals of studying abroad, working in Japanese companies, or accurately assessing their own proficiency level.

Japanese Placement Test Schedule: Students need to contact the Center to register for a placement test. The test takes place weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 PM. The test includes reading, writing, and an oral interview with a foreign teacher. This test is designed to accurately measure your current Japanese proficiency.

The IELTS curriculum and learning materials at EIU FLC have been compiled and reviewed by experienced language experts. The program ensures practicality, diversity, and up-to-date learning.

The JLPT is the most famous, popular, and prestigious Japanese language proficiency test in the world today. Organized by the Japan Foundation (an organization under the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs), the test is held annually in 65 countries and territories. This widespread recognition makes the JLPT the gold standard for measuring Japanese language proficiency. The JLPT has five levels, from N5 (easiest) to N1 (most difficult), suitable for learners of all levels, from beginners to advanced. This allows students a clear path to achieving their Japanese language goals.
