Why does EIU Foreign Language Center (FLC) offer “Japanese for Teens course”?

The Japanese for Teens program enables students to acquire the language naturally through practical, real-life communication scenarios. By engaging in these everyday situations, learners build the confidence to speak Japanese while gaining a deeper appreciation for Japanese culture.

While the curriculum places a strong emphasis on interactive activities, listening, and speaking, it remains a well-rounded program. We ensure that language knowledge—including reading and writing skills—is developed systematically. This approach allows students to fully experience a harmonious blend of practical communication, academic knowledge, and the rich diversity of Japanese culture.
